There’s always a way out!

There are times when you feel that things have ended up in a deadlock and there’s no way out. These situations are dead ends for some, but opportunities for others to make in-roads. In such situations, always remember to follow a mantra which I have perfected over the last few years.

Since everything happens for a reason,

Drill your way out and be a mason.

For awareness is what’ll help you win any race,

And make you the strongest, sturdiest mace.

Yes, one should feel blessed to be in a situation that offers them a challenge. Let me clarify one thing here. Taking up challenges and not problems is the way to go about things in life. What I mean here is that challenge will always be something that will help you grow, personally. Whereas problem is not always a pretty situation on a personal front to be in. You can always go out and solve problems that do or do not matter, but solving challenges will always be beneficial for more than one person. So just go with the flow.

Also, once a lesson is learnt in any situation, always take away a couple of things from that. Firstly, the confidence that you came good in a situation that you had never met before and hence you can do so again. Moreover, you should remember the steps that you took to resolve the same. And finally, always be a good story-teller. What good is it if you cannot help others in similar situations. If only you had shared your experiences with others. Hence always leverage others’ experiences and share the same to help others leverage too because life is short and there is so much to learn.

Finally, always keep your cognitive load to a minimal level. This is a contemporary jargon that signifies the workload that one’s memory resources have to put to make proper, informed decisions. This is like a human battery in simpler terms and since every person has a different storage, it is up to us to make sure we leave enough juice to press on when needed and let things pass by like a slide show, when things are just trifling.

In conclusion, I would like to sum up by saying that: perseverance, awareness, confidence and low cognitive load are the keys to longevity of success in this modern era of sophisticated survivors. Just delve deep into this, you will figure out that you would have done the same in your past when you were faced with challenges in life and emerged victorious, as one would have it. Cheers!
